Redefines the word “stewardship” to mean more than meeting the annual budget.
Finding a way to make the act of stewardship appealing and comforting to a congregation is nearly impossible. Afire with God urges ministries and congregations to become stewards-in-action of all that God has entrusted to us. This text examines how being a good stewards goes beyond one’s financial commitment and becomes the way we live out the gospel. Included is this text are examples to reinvigorate stewardship from worship to long range planning and individual ministry growth.
