We see him at the burning bush, where God called him to return to Egypt and free the Israelites from slavery.

In Session 4 titled The Ten Commandments, we trace the journey of the Israelites as they left Egypt and set out into the desert. We learn about their complaints and God's responses. Finally we arrive at St. Catherine's Monastery at the foot of Mount Sinai and hike up the mountain where Moses received the Ten Commandments.

Session 5 titled Lessons from the Wilderness, describes the Israelites' years in the wilderness after leaving Egypt, including the feeding of the people, their complaints, and the building of the Tent of Meeting. The temples at Luxor and Karnak show how the structure of Egyptian temples was used as a model for the Tent of Meeting, culminating in the Holy of Holies.

In Session 6 titled Don't Forget...Pass it On, the Israelites didn't trust God to protect them in the Promised Land, and so God decreed that they would stay in the desert for forty years. When the next generation arose, Moses led them to Mount Nebo, where he bid them farewell and, with God's help, viewed the Promised Land before he died.
