Christian Believer

The Christian Believer program, part of Disciple Bible Studies, focuses on classical teachings of the Christian faith—presenting, explaining, and interpreting them in a way that participants can understand, using words, symbols, and hymns. Over a 30-week period, participants will examine the writings of ancient and modern Christian commentators and view video presentations by leading Bible scholars.

Study materials include a Study Manual (guides daily reading in Scripture and in the Book of Readings and encourages daily prayer while providing space for taking notes for use in weekly group discussion); a Leader Guide (offers suggestions for weekly group sessions and information to enhance leadership skills and support group building and maintenance); Readings (includes brief, weekly readings that relate to the topic of the lesson in the Study Manual taken from writings of ancient and modern Christians on the great doctrines of the Christian faith); a DVD Set (containing 2 DVDs and a segment summary); a Reading Package (contains one each of the Study Manual and the Book of Readings); a Planning Kit (with everything a leader needs: a Study Manual, a Leader Guide, a DVD Set, a Book of Readings, and a cloth logo bag with handles and zipper). Certificates and Lapel Pins also available.
